Price Guide
You can purchase a single advert or a series of adverts. We offer discounts for block bookings. Standard prices are as follows but we may (subject to demand) periodically offer greater discounts and special offers. These should be discussed on an individual basis.
Research shows that a greater response is received after an advert is seen 3 or 4 times.
Standard single prices and block booking (3+, 6+ or 12+ adverts) discount prices are shown below.
The image gives you an indication of the various advert sizes we run in both publications – please click on it to view it full size. Unlike newspapers we do not work in column widths, all sizes as shown below are in millimetres.

Deadlines
Please note that any adverts booked for the front or back pages must now reach us no later than 5pm on the Thursday of the week before publication as we are now printing the front and back pages on Friday mornings. This applies to new adverts but also to any changes to ongoing adverts.
Content for other pages should ideally reach us by 1pm on the Friday of the week before publication to guarantee that we can fit it in to the next issue, we may however be able to accept adverts on Monday subject to available space. Please book early for large adverts as we limit the number of pages in any issue.

The prices below are PER ADVERT so if you want 3 adverts (to get the discounted rate) you pay the price shown x 3. You can advertise in just one publication or both publications the same week but please remember that to go in both you need to pay for 1 x Deepings Advert plus 1 x Villages Advert. Additional discounts are sometimes available to go in both publications or for very long block bookings.
WHEN BOOKING ADVERTS, PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT BOTH THE DEEPINGS ADVERTISER AND THE VILLAGES ADVERTISER ARE ISSUED WEEKS 1 & 3 OF EACH MONTH (SO TWICE A MONTH).
THE PRICE LIST BELOW COMES INTO EFFECT FROM 1st APRIL 2024, IF YOU BOOK ADVERTS BEFORE THEN, YOU WILL GET THEM AT THE OLD PRICE.
*Front Page positions are subject to availability and thus you cannot book them online, please give us a call.
Note 5: All sizes may be subject to slight variation on a per edition basis at our discretion.
Note 6: Longer runs may be negotiated on an individual basis.
Note 7: It may be possible to arrange bespoke sizes and different orientations (e.g. a 1/3 page or a portrait ½ page). This will be at our discretion and prices will be negotiable.
Note 8: There may be an additional charge for design work, simple designs are usually free if you book a series of adverts.
